Olli Caldwell takes his place on the grid for exciting F3 season

Hildon are proud to announce that Young Racing Driver Olli Caldwell has joined Italian racing team Trident ahead of the 2020 F3 season.

Hildon made the decision to support the promising young racing driver Olli Caldwell in 2019 following a successful campaign in F4 and his instant success comes as no surprise.

Olli has been offered a seat with Italian Racing Team Trident after a successful season in the Formula Regional European Championship, where he finished fifth with one victory and seven podiums. The 17-year-old will join Lirim Zendeli and Devlin DeFrancesco at the Italian outfit.

“I am very happy to be joining Trident this year in FIA F3,” Caldwell said. “The team has the capability to win races and I’m looking forward to pushing the car to the limit and collecting trophies for them.”

Team Principal Maurizio Salvadori said: “Olli Caldwell is one of the most promising and appreciated prospects in British motorsport. We had the chance to evaluate his skills and qualities last year in post-season testing at Valencia and in the Macau Grand Prix."

"Despite being a rookie, Caldwell impressed our technical staff on both occasions. I am sure that all the right ingredients are in place for him to do extremely well with Team Trident, which will give 100 per cent to support him in such a competitive series like the FIA Formula 3 Championship.”

Hildon are immensely proud to be working with Olli and we look forward to seeing what he can achieve in his first FIA Formula 3 Championship season.
