2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards

As our first year as the official water of the BAFTA’s we were very excited to  attend the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards, held at the Royal Festival Hall in London. It was an amazing night that celebrated cinematic excellence, with Oppenheimer dominating the evening. Christopher Nolan's historical epic led the event with 13 nominations, ultimately securing seven wins, including Best Film and Best Director for Nolan. The film's lead, Cillian Murphy, also took home the award for Best Actor, solidifying Oppenheimer's status as a frontrunner in this awards season.

Other notable winners included Poor Things, which garnered five awards out of its 11 nominations, with Emma Stone winning Best Actress for her role. The ceremony, hosted by David Tennant, also saw The Zone of Interest winning Outstanding British Film, further highlighting the depth and diversity of talent in the UK film industry this year. 

 2024 BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises

Celebrating the very best of British television with an evening that honoured outstanding performances, compelling storytelling, and groundbreaking productions. The event, held at the Royal Festival Hall, was a night to remember, featuring notable winners such as Timothy Spall, who took home his first BAFTA for Leading Actor for The Sixth Commandment. Matthew Macfadyen, recognised for his role in Succession, secured his second BAFTA for Supporting Actor, a testament to the show's ongoing legacy. The evening also celebrated long-standing industry figures, with Lorraine Kelly receiving a special award for her four decades in television, and the wonderful Baroness Floella Benjamin being honoured with the prestigious Fellowship for her exceptional contribution to television and advocacy for diversity and inclusion.
