Our Water

When nature gives you perfection, it would be wrong to change it. That’s why the only change we make to our water is the gentle carbonation we use to add the sparkle into our Gently Sparkling range. We simply make sure that your Hildon stays as fresh as the day it was drawn from the aquifer, until you are ready to enjoy it.

Our exquisite water has won blind tastings conducted by the most refined palates. The secret to this sought after balance of refreshment and purity is the source.

In 2013 Hildon Limited, having had our quality management system externally audited, by a UKAS accredited external company, were delighted to become ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) 9001:2008 certified. Continually audited to ensure compliance, this achievement enables us to communicate to all our stakeholders the high standards of quality and service we believe in and deliver.

The Hildon Taste

World class sommeliers of the Institute of Masters of Wine have singled Hildon out as their preferred bottled water for its unique taste. It’s this specific taste that has made us the only bottled water brand ever to win the Chefs’ Choice Award for four consecutive years.

This taste comes from over 50 years of natural filtration through the chalk hills of the Test Valley, deep in the Hampshire countryside.

It isn’t just our terroir that makes us different as not everyone makes the grade when it comes to being a Natural Mineral Water. Our status means we offer a consistent composition and purity so we can tell you exactly what you’re drinking – right down to the actual levels of calcium, nitrates and other special minerals our water contains. Hildon guarantees you a perfect taste every time.

Refreshing Hildon

Water doesn’t contain sugar, additives or calories. From leaving the aquifer to filling your glass, Hildon Natural Mineral Water is not treated or changed except for the gentle carbonation we add to put the sparkle into your Hildon Gently Sparkling. This means you can be confident that you are drinking the purest of water, just as nature intended.

Most waters contain some sodium, it’s only natural. The sodium content in Hildon Natural Mineral Water, at only 7.7mg/l, is lower than most other bottled waters.

Our bodies are made up of 60-70% water so it is important to stay hydrated in order to keep your body functioning properly. Water contributes to the maintenance of normal physical and cognitive functions also. Healthcare experts recommend we consume an average of 1 1/2 litres of water a day. A great way to measure how much fluid you are taking on board is to drink water from a bottle. For more up to date guidance on hydration recommendations see the NHS website.

Our Source

Another requirement when it comes to qualifying as a Natural Mineral Water, is that the water must be from one single and consistent source.

Hildon Natural Mineral Water is extracted from one place, our carefully protected and regulated single source deep within the spectacular Test Valley, in the Hampshire countryside. A place where wild deer roam, red kites soar and the Hildon team work hard to ensure that the surrounding natural environment is not impacted by our work.
