Hildon Natural Mineral Water comes from beneath the chalk hills of the beautiful Hampshire countryside in the South of England. The water is wholesome, naturally filtered and crystal-clear. It is free from pollution and has a stable composition, being naturally low in sodium. The water is bottled at source and whether it is Delightfully Still or Gently Sparkling, it has a distinctive, delicious taste.

The Source of Hildon Natural Mineral Water

What is natural mineral water?
There are strict rules governing the labelling of water as Natural Mineral Water, Spring Water or Bottled Water. Water sold as Natural Mineral Water must originate in an officially recognised spring, be microbiologically wholesome and have been protected from all risk of pollution.

Natural Mineral Water must be bottled at source and must not be polluted in any way. Before water can be officially recognised as natural mineral water, it must be demonstrated that the source is protected from all risk of pollution and that the composition, temperature and other essential characteristics remain stable over time.

Unlike natural mineral water, water that is labelled as Spring Water does not have to originate from an officially recognised source. Water labelled only as Bottled Water can come from "a variety of sources, including municipal supplies" i.e. tap water!
